GISConverter converts your files entirely inside your browser. Your geospatial files are never uploaded to, stored on, or seen by any server we run. Conversion is performed locally by a GDAL engine compiled to WebAssembly.
The files you drop into the converter are read and processed in your browser's memory only. They are not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we do not receive, log, or retain their contents.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to operate and secure the site. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic.
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits.
